Revver Document requests allow you to send an email to your client/user asking them to upload specific documents.

As a Revver user, you can define what documents you need the client to upload, where those documents are stored, and you can save those requests to use later as 'document request templates'.

Document requests menu

In the navigation menu or navigation bar, you can click the 'Document Requests' menu icon to see your Document Requests menu.

Inbox

The inbox is where you will see any document requests that have been sent by you for completion, either through a workflow, document request or form fill assignment. You can sort the list by date, sender, expiration, or status.

Sent

The Sent menu shows any document requests sent by you to your clients.

Account Requests

Account Requests show you any requests that are currently live, that have been sent by any user in your account. You can sort these by Subject, From, To, and date created or expired.

Templates

You can create a document request template to be used in future requests. For example; if you know that you will request W2 information from multiple clients, you can create a document request template asking for W2s.

Document requests Glossary

Destination: The Destination indicates the Drawer or Folder in Revver where you would like the completed request to be stored. You can select any folder to which you have Create or Write permission.

Request Documents With Access Link: If your customer has permission to view the destination, you can chose “request with access link” to allow the customer to log in with a quick access link to that location.

To: to whom you would like the request to be completed.

Subject: This is the subject line in the email message.

Attachments: you can chose to include additional information in the form of document Attachments.

Message: you can include a personalized message to your client with instructions.

Timeframe: This will allow you to set an expiration date for your request. After the expiration date is satisfied, your client will no longer be able to fill out the document request.

Notify on Completion: This will notify you in your Home Screen when a document request has been completed.

Grant instant sign-in: This will allow you to send the document request as an public access link.

Documents to Request: the document that you would like your client to upload.

File vs. Form: a File request is used to ask a client to upload a document from their machine, whereas a Form is a document that you have pre-defined fields for the user to fill out.(please see our form fill guide).

Save As New Template: this option allows you to save the current document request to use again later with a different client.

Documents To Request menu

Name: This field allows you to define the name of the document you’re requesting. You can chose for the document to be:

Required: the document request cannot be completed without this document.

Renamed: The client can name the document whatever they would like.

You can Allow Multiple File Uploads if the document is separated into multiple files on the client’s machine.
