A folder template in Revver is a predefined set of folders that can be applied to your structure in the documents menu. This set of folders once applied are able to be altered/synced with the other folders in your structure to help you maintain an organized file view.

To view/manage Folder Templates, a user requires a Full License, and the User (system) Permission of “Template Management”

Template Library : A Template Library is a container in which you can create templates.

Template: A predefined set of folders, document names, or documents that can be applied to your structure in Revver.

Predefined document name: a name that can be applied to any document stored within the structure of the template.

To see the templates contained within a library, simply click on the library.

Once you have your library selected, you will see all of the templates available in that library; as well as the number of instances, who created the template, and the time and date the template was created.

Within the template, you see the predefined set of folders that can be applied to your structure in the Documents menu in Revver.

New Folder, new predefined document name, or new upload symbols appear as you hover your mouse over the structure of your folder template. You can also get these options by right-clicking on the Template Name or a folder/sub-folder in the template.

This button is an extremely simple and powerful option to help you create a better, more dynamic folder structure. After you apply this template to a location in Revver, and you’d like to make a change to that template, you can simply select “Sync Changes” to apply the changes you’ve made to every instance of your template.

Not only do we allow you to create, apply, and synchronize your templates en masse. Revver provides the additional flexibility of applying automation directly to your folder templates.
