Revver has multiple tools that allow you to import account templates, CSV files, or to export key data for your document related work.

Glossary of Terms:

CSV - A CSV is defined as a text file in which information is separated by Commas. Often a spreadsheet containing names or a list of items that can be imported into a database. (CSV Is an acronym for “Comma Separated Values”).

Account Template - an account template is an “account configuration file” that includes Templates, profiles, and other key items that can be used to build your file/folder structure in an efficient and effective way.

CSV Import

The CSV Import tool is a powerful way to take a list of items in a document and import them directly into Revver. This tool can create users or directories (or both) by importing data from your document (please see our FAQ page on how to import CSV documents).

CSV Export

Because metadata can be applied to users, templates, drawers, folders, and files; it may become necessary to export your data into a CSV list. The CSV Export tool allows you to export all profile information associated with specific items (drawers, folders, or files) in a specific cabinet.

Account Template Export

The account template export tool enables you to export items from your account that can be used in another Revver account. This includes:

  • Cabinets

  • Profiles

  • Groups

  • Template libraries

  • Salesforce mappings

  • Automation settings

  • Governance data

  • Profile data

  • Permissions

Account template import

You can import an account template from another user or account owner in Revver. This will allow you to create multiple templates, cabinets, groups, etc. in a single step.
