How Do I Purge Deleted Items? (Permanently Delete Items)

Permanently delete or purge item from the recycle bin

Written by Ty Toon

In Revver, deleted items can be recovered or purged from the Deleted Items bin, or "Recycle bin." This built-in feature protects against accidental data loss and acts as a fail-safe for Cabinets, Drawers, Folders, or Documents.

This feature is available in both the Revver Web Interface, and the Revver Desktop App.

The Recycle bin allows users to purge data permanently from Revver. If you decide to purge an item in your recycle bin, it cannot be recovered not even from a backup.

Access & Permissions Required

To access the Recycle Bin and be able to purge item, user will need to access to the "File Management" feature in the 'Work Management' option from the Enabled feature section.

How to Purge Deleted Items:

  1. Log into Revver.

  2. Select the Navigation menu, select 'All Features', and go to 'Recycle Bin'.

  3. You should see your Recycle Bin Table appear in the center pane of the screen.

  4. In the recycle bin, you can use the "Search" option to find a file based on Name, Path, or date-range.

  5. Once your results are searched, you can use the column-headers to sort the data in the recycle bin table.

  6. Once you have found the item that you wish to purge, select that item so it is highlighted in light-purple.

  7. Select "Purge Selected" in the bottom left of the center-pane.
