Revver previewer in provides you with a number of options to make specific modifications to documents, all without requiring you to check the document out of Revver.

Access & Feature Requirements

In order to access the previewer and its features, your user will require the 'Previewer Tools' feature enabled.

User will also need 'Write' item permission on the actual file, as most of the preview feature will edit the file. The 'write' item permission is what allows you to edit files.

Previewing Files

Revver offers multiple ways to preview your documents and files within Revver, to make it as easy as possible to get the data you need, when you need it.

All of the options below are available anywhere the document sidesheet is, including in your search results and the recycle bin.

For more information about the document sidesheet and its update, see the following article:

Document Sidesheet

The easiest way to preview a document is using the sidesheet. With a document selected, click on the 'Eye' icon in the document sidesheet on the right hand side of your screen to open up the previewer panel.

Right Click

The preview option is also available via the right click menu. Locate a document in your 'Documents' view and right click, selecting the 'Preview' option to open up the previewer in the document sidesheet on the right hand side of the Revver screeen.

Preview in New Tab

Finally, Revver offers you the option to preview documents in new tabs within your browser. Right click a document and select the 'Preview in New Tab' option -- this will open a single instance of the previewer in a new tab in your browser.

This option is available in both the browser and the Revver desktop app. When using this option in the desktop app, the previewer instance will open in a new tab in your default browser.
