In this document we will go over how to append and prepend files onto existing files. as well as add new file versions.

Method #1 - Uploading a document with an identical name

The first method to append/prepend or create a new file version is to upload a file of the same name.

Step #1 - Go to your Documents Tab

Locate and click on the 'Documents' button on the left hand side of your screen.

Step #2 - Upload the file using the same name

Upload a file into a location under the same name as an existing file in that location. When prompted, select the option from the drop down menu to append/prepend.

Method 2 - Drag and Drop

The second method involves two files that have already been uploaded or otherwise exist in Revver. By taking one file and dropping it on top of another, you can append and prepend two documents together with ease.

Step #1 - Got to your Documents tab

Locate and click on the 'Documents' button on the left hand side of your screen.

Step #2 - Locate existing files, or upload new ones

If the files have already been uploaded into Revver previously, then they just need to be in the same location in order to append or prepend. Otherwise, upload the two files you wish to append together into the same folder.

Step #3 - Drag and drop one on top of the other

Click and hold your mouse button down on top of one of the files, then drag it on top of the other. Revver will prompt you to append the two documents together.
