How do I upload files into Revver?

In this article we discuss the different methods of upload files directly into Revver, including the various upload buttons that can be used, the right click menu, and dragging and dropping files into Revver.


Access & Permissions Required

In order to upload files, you will need the following item permissions on the location you wish to upload to:

Please note that the 'Upload Files' permission only appears when clicking on the 'Create Permission'. By default, checking 'Create' gives the user both the 'Upload Files' permission as well as 'Create Directories' permission.

This will allow the user to create folders and other container items as well if they have the accompanying user permission 'Create/Modify Structure'.

The buttons you can click on to upload files can be found in the following locations:

When in a folder or drawer that has files in it already, the large 'Drag or Click Upload' will be placed at the bottom of your screen, below the list of files in the middle pane:


Right Click to Upload

You can also right click using your mouse on an empty portion of the middle pane, or on the folder or drawer you wish to upload to:


Drag and Drop

You can also drag and drop files from Windows directly into the Revver browser or desktop app window to add them to the upload queue:
