This article covers how to download containers, specifically folders and drawers, from your Revver account.
Access & Permissions Required
To download a folder or drawer, you will need the 'Download' item permission on that container.
Restrictions
To download a folder or drawer from Revver, it must meet the following criteria:
The container must not be a cabinet or the account level workspace.
The total size of the selected container(s) must not exceed 1gb.
The total file count of the container(s) and all sub-containers must not exceed 5,000 items.
Downloading Folders & Drawers
To download a folder or drawer from Revver, locate the container and right click it and select the 'Download' option.
This will display a prompt that details the size of the location as well as the amount of files in that location.
If your download selection meets the criteria discussed above, you can click 'Download' to download a .zip archive of the location and its full contents.
Downloading Multiple Containers
You can download more than one container at a time as well, so long as the selected containers still meet the criteria discussed previously in this article.
Selecting Multiple Containers in a Single Location
Navigate to the parent container where the locations you wish to downlod are stored. Using your keyboard, holding the shift key will allow you to select multiple containers in sequence.
You can also select containers individual containers out of sequence by instead holding down the ctrl key on your keyboard.
Searching for and Downloading Containers
If the containers you want to download are in separate locations, but can be found in a single search, you can use the same methods above to select and download them.
In this example, the search being used is displaying files that were created after a specific date. They are stored in separate locations, but using the selection methods described above, all of them can be selected and downloaded from the right click menu.
Mix & Match
This is not limited to just containers either, if you need to download a combination of containers and files, the same multiple-selection methods described above can be used to select them.
Note on Download Format
When downloading any of the following:
A single container
Multiple containers
A mix of containers and files
You will receive a single .zip archive file containing all of them stored within it. All files and containers in the provided .zip file are named and organized exactly as they appear within your Revver account.
Both Windows and Mac OS computers should be able to support .zip archive file formats by default. If you encounter any issues with opening or accessing the contents of your download, please contact our support team.
