The Revver Folder Mapping App allows you to automatically upload files to Revver by simply adding them to a folder on your computer or network drive.Through the app, you can map your local source to a destination in Revver. Whenever a file is placed in your local source, it will automatically upload a copy to the specified Revver destination and the original file will be moved to a subfolder in your source location. With the Folder Mapping app, you can:
Map Revver locations to local or network folders. Any files added to the mapped local folder, including network drive folders, will automatically upload to the specified Revver location.
Enable automatic processing with Revver features. Files uploaded through mapped folders have access to all Revver capabilities, including Smart Extract AI, Workflow automation, and Revver Reports.
Set it and forget it. Once you’ve authenticated using an access code associated with your Revver user, you stay logged in and the app will automatically upload as it detects files in your source locations.
Automatically archive uploaded files. Once files are successfully uploaded to Revver, they're moved to an "Archived Revver Uploads" sub-folder in your source location, keeping your mapped folder organized while preserving the originals.
This article will cover how to download and set up the Revver Folder Mapping app, create folder mappings between your computer and Revver, and manage your mapped folders.

Managing your mapped folders
If you’re already authenticated, you will see a table of your existing mappings when you open the Revver Folder Mapping app from your system tray. The “Your Mapped Folders” table shows the local source folder’s path, the Revver destination folder path, when the mapping was created, and the date and time of the last upload to Revver through that mapping.
Here, you will be notified if any mappings are in error. You can delete any mapping from here and create new mappings.
Troubleshooting folder mapping errors
If you see an error icon next to a mapped folder or in your system tray:
Unable to find folder: The computer or network folder may have been deleted, moved, or renamed. Edit the mapping to select a new folder path, or delete the mapping if it's no longer needed.
Not authenticated: You may have been logged out of the app. Open the app and log in again using your Access Code from My Settings.
How folder mapping works
Automatic uploads
The Revver Folder Mapping app checks for new files in your mapped folders regularly
When new files are detected, they're uploaded to Revver immediately (if you have an internet connection)
If your internet connection is temporarily lost, files will be uploaded as soon as the connection is restored
If there are already files in a folder when you create a mapping, those existing files will be uploaded automatically
File archiving
Files remain in your mapped folder until they're successfully uploaded to Revver
After a successful upload, files are moved to an "Archived Revver uploads" sub-folder within your mapped folder
You can manually delete files from this archive folder whenever you'd like
If the archive sub-folder is deleted, it will be automatically recreated at the next upload
File size limits
Files that exceed Revver's upload size limits of 50 GB will remain in your mapped folder and will not be uploaded. Files of this side exceed Revver’s upload limit from any source, so the file size would need to be addressed before you can try to upload through the app or manually.
Processing in Revver
All uploaded files have access to Revver's full feature set
Files can be processed by Smart Extract AI for automatic data extraction
Workflow automation can be applied to route, approve, or process uploaded files
Files appear in Revver with all standard capabilities for sharing, governance, and collaboration
