In this article we will cover two methods for moving items from one place to another within Revver.

You must possess 'Write' permissions on both containers, from which the data is being moved and to which it is being moved to.

In this section we will cover how to cut and paste an item from one location to another.

Within the Documents Menu, right click the item you wish to move and select 'Cut':

You will receive an 'Item Cut' message on screen:

You can paste your selected item into its destination in a few different ways. You can right-click the destination in the 'Folder View', the 'Documents Pane', or right-click the blank space within your currently selected container. After right-clicking the destination, select paste:

This will begin moving the document to the new location. You will receive a 'Moving Items...' message:

Once the move is complete you will receive a 'Move Complete' message:

In this section we will cover how to drag and drop an item from one container to another.

Select the item you wish to move by left-clicking it. Drag and drop to location you want to move it to on the 'Folder View' or the 'Documents Pane':

You will receive a confirmation prompt box. Verify that you are moving the item to the desired location and press 'Ok' to confirm the moving of the file:

You will get a message when the task begins, and when it is completed:
