Item permissions control what items a user can see and access in Revver.
When a user or group's permissions on an item need to be updated you can use the following steps to do so.
Access/Permissions Requirements
In order to edit another user's or a group's item permissions you will need to have admin item permissions on that item yourself:

You will also need the 'Item Permissions Control' permission under your 'User Permissions' section in the Users menu:
Updating the Permissions
To edit existing permissions on an item (Account Workspace/Cabinet/Drawer/Folder/File) you will need to do the following
1. Navigate to the 'Permissions icon'
Select the item in the Folder View Pane (left) or the Document View Pane (center) pane of the screen. Then, click the 'Permissions button' on the far right side of the Details Pane (Right):
Once the list opens a quick view of the current permissions will be available there.
2. Select the Edit Icon and Update
To edit the displayed permissions, click the Edit icon π:
You can now edit the basic permissions by checking or un-checking the boxes under the corresponding permission column. For Advanced permissions on a group or user, click the edit button:
3. Advanced Configuration
Item permissions can be configured further once you select edit under the 'Advanced' column:

β
Here you can give this user or group admin permissions over the item by checking the admin box.
β
You can override any existing permissions/groups by checking the 'Override' box.
The 'Restrict All' box can be used to prevent the user or group from seeing the item at all.
The Inheritance Behavior drop down determines how these item permissions will be applied. By default item permissions on containers will apply the same permissions to all items within the container.
Be sure to select Save after making any changes
