Audit Logs provide essential insights into the activity and changes made within your Revver account, enabling you to track and monitor any modifications and access attempts. With this powerful tool, you can identify potential security threats and quickly take corrective measures to protect your data. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to learn how to effectively utilize Audit Logs and safeguard your Revver account.
To access Audit Logs please select the 'All Features' button then select the 'Audit Logs' button. Audit logs in Revver act as a comprehensive record of user activity. They are vital for monitoring file uploads, verifying compliance policies, and investigating irregular activities.
Once you have done so it will take you to the main Audit Logs Page as seen below.

From the Audit Logs menu you are able to select the 'Filters' button in order to display all possible ways of filtering your audit logs. Among the filter options available, you can also filter logs by specific users through the 'Display Name' section to narrow down activities performed by a particular account.
For our example, we will demonstrate how to filter the Audit Logs results to display only 'File Upload' events that occurred within the last 30 days. To do so, select the 'File Upload' and 'Date Range' options and specify a 'Start Date' of February 8th, 2023, and an 'End Date' of March 8th, 2023. These options are illustrated below for your convenience. Additionally, if you wish to filter by specific users, you can select the user's account name under the 'Display Name' filter to pinpoint activities tied to that individual.
Once you have the options you would like selected you will click the 'Apply Filters' button. Revver will then refresh the screen displaying only the audit log items which you filtered for. Next, you have the option to generate a downloadable file of the logs by clicking the 'Generate Audit Logs File' button. This allows you to save a copy for further review or reporting.
Saving and Sharing Audit Logs
After generating an audit log file, you can choose a location within your Revver account to save the log. For example, saving it to a specific user folder ensures easy access for relevant team members.
