Reports are static views of your data, only showing you the data as it existed when the report was created. With scheduling and snapshots however, they become a powerful tool for data analysis.

Access & Permissions Required

In order to access Revver Reports, your user will require the 'Revver Reports' feature to be enabled on their account.

Creating data sources in Revver Reports requires that the user be able to view the location(s) used in the data source, as well as their profile information.

Reports within Revver Reports require a Data Source to be created first. For documentation on how to create a Data Source, please see the following article.

Accessing Revver Reports

Revver Reports is accessed by clicking on the Revver Reports option on the left hand side of your screen in Revver.

Creating a Report

Before creating a report, you will want to have a data source in place for the report to pull from. This process can be done prior to creating your report, or during the report setup process.

Step 1 - Create a Report

Start by clicking on the 'Reports' option on the left hand side of the Revver Reports page, this section is where your future reports will be stored.

Locate and click on the 'Create New' option. A text field will appear in its place, name your report and click on the 'Save' disk icon to continue.

Step 2 - Choose a Data Source

Once you have named and saved your report, a window will appear on your screen prompting you to choose the data source you will use for this report.

Check the box for the data source you would like to use and click 'Next'. Optionally, if you have not created a data source yet, or need a new one to use for this report, click on 'Add Data Source' to create a new one.

Step 3 - Add Objects to Your Report

With the report created, you can now begin configuring how your report will visualize this data. The widgets on the left hand side of the reports page can be clicked and dragged on to the canvas grid.

Adding a widget to your report will greet you with a configuration window, this is where you will configure what data within your data source the widget will visualize.

You can optionally add additional filters to the widget to ensure it's only showing the data you need the most.
