Revver provides various efficient techniques to locate the desired items swiftly. One such approach to searching for items within Revver is by utilizing the Center Pane Filter, also known as the File Pane Filter, which is conveniently accessible within the Documents view. The Center Pane Filter can be leveraged to filter your cabinets, drawer, folders, and files based on their names. Additionally, users can sort their search results by name, type, size, date created, date modified, and creator. Overall, the implementation of the Center Pane Filter significantly streamlines the search process within Revver and enhances user productivity.

Finding the Center Pane Filter

To use the center pane filter you will first need to navigate to the Documents view. You can get to the Documents view by selecting 'Documents' in the navigation menu on the left of the home page.

Once in the Documents view you will need to navigate to a location that you would like to filter. For example, I would like to use the filter from my ‘New Folder’, located in the ‘New Drawer’ in the ‘Demo Cabinet’.

The items below are what the center pane filter consists of:

  1. Filter icon - Clicking the filter icon will expand the filter for use.

  2. Reverse sort button - Clicking the reverse sort button will reverse how items are sorted in the center pane.

  3. Sort Criteria Dropdown - This dropdown lets you choose which criteria items are sorted by. The following image shows the sorting criteria. Please note that the ‘Name’ criteria is the default.

  4. View Change - These buttons allow you to change how you view the items in the container that you are in.

  • List View -

  • Thumbnail View -

  • Details View -

  1. Item Count - Shows the current count of items in the container.

How to Use the Center Pane Filter

To use the center pane filter:

  1. Click on the filter icon.
