Utilizing document request templates is a highly effective method to streamline the process of requesting documents. This approach provides a standardized template for document requests, which can be easily reused for multiple clients or customers, thereby increasing operational efficiency and productivity.
Navigating to Document Request Templates
To get to the location where you can create document request templates you will need to select ‘Document Requests’ in the left side navigation menu. After that you will need to select the ‘Templates’ tab in the center pane.
Creating a Document Request Template
To create a document request template from the Document Request menu you will need to select the 'New Request Template' button in the top right. After you will need to fill out the fields as needed/wanted, please see the clip below for more on this process.
From the clip you can see that you optionally add a timeframe for those receiving the document request. You can also choose to not require a sign in to use the document request by selecting the 'Grant Instant Sign-in' option. You can also see in the clip that you can add multiple documents or forms to the document request template.
Using the Document Request Template
To utilize the document request template, please navigate to the 'Document Requests' view and select the 'New Request' button. This will prompt the creation of a new request, and you will have the option to select a template from the 'Request Template' dropdown located at the top of the screen. Once a template has been selected, you may modify any of the document request details to meet your specific requirements. Once all necessary modifications have been made and a destination in Revver has been selected for the requested document to be stored, you may select the desired recipient and send the request.
