Sharing a form with respondents via a public link or direct email in Revver

Written by Product Team

Once a form has been built, Revver gives you two ways to get it in front of respondents: sharing a public link, or sending it directly to specific people. This article covers both.

For help building a form, see Forms - Building a Form. For help reviewing submissions once responses start coming in, see Forms - Management & Responses.

Sharing a Form Link

Every form has a unique link, available from the form's details side sheet on the Forms management page. Copy this link to share it however you'd like — in an email, a Slack message, a newsletter, or embedded on a website.

Use the link when you want a form to be broadly or publicly available for anyone to complete.

Sending a Form Directly

Use Send Form when you need a form completed by a specific person, or a specific list of people, rather than being openly available. To send a form:

  1. From the Forms management page, select a form, then choose Send from the actions menu — or use the Send Form option directly, which pre-populates the form for you.

  2. Enter one or more recipient email addresses.

Recipients

Recipients can be existing users in your account, or brand new email addresses that aren't yet associated with a Revver user. When a form is sent to someone who isn't already a user, Revver creates them as a guest user in your account so they can access and complete the form — there is no limit on the number of guest users on an account. For more on what recipients experience, see Guest User Experience.

Sending in Bulk

To send a form to a larger group — for example, all employees or all clients — use Send in Bulk and paste a list of email addresses. Bulk sending currently accepts email addresses only.

Custom Message

Direct sends go out as an email from Revver with standard messaging included. You can add your own personalized message to be included alongside the standard email content.

Changing the Submission Destination

Every form has a default destination set when it was created, but this can be overridden for an individual send. If you'd like responses from this particular send to be stored somewhere else, update the destination before selecting Send.
