Utilizing document request templates is a highly effective method to streamline the process of requesting documents. This approach provides a standardized template for document requests, which can be easily reused for multiple clients or customers, thereby increasing operational efficiency and productivity.
Access & Feature Requirements
In order to access Document Requests, your user will require the 'Document Requests' enabled feature.
To access management tools allowing you to create document request templates your user would need the "document request management" enabled feature.
Navigating to Document Request Templates
Document request templates can be accessed from the Document Requests page by locating the 'Templates' tab at the top of the page.
Creating a Document Request Template
To create a new document request template, click on the 'New Request Template' button at the top right of the page.
This opens up a new document request setup page, the subject line you choose for your document request is what the template will be saved as.

Once you've completed the setup, click 'Save As New Template' to save it to your account. This will make it available to use when creating a new document request.
Using the Document Request Template
To use your document request template, start by creating a new document request by clicking on 'New Request' at the top right of the Document Requests page.
At the top of the document request set up page, choose your template from the drop down menu labeled 'Request Template' at the top.
Using your Document Request Template in a Workflow
Your document request templates can also be used in workflows. When creating a workflow, add a document request step to your stage and choose your template to quickly and easily configure the request your workflow will use.
