In this article we explain how you can update the signing security certificate used in your SSO/SAML setup in Revver.
Access & Permissions Required
In order to perform this task, you will need to access the 'Account Settings' page as well as the 'Single Sign-on' page within it. To do so you will require the 'Enterprise Security Management' and 'System Settings' permissions shown below:
Instructions on Updating the Signing Certificate
Before beginning this process, please ensure that you have a new or updated signing certificate in hand. To obtain this, you will need to log in to your SSO identity provider and generate one. For instructions on how to do that, please check with your identity provider.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Single Sign-On Page
To begin, first navigate to the 'Single Sign-On' page in Revver by clicking on the 'All Features' button on the left hand side of the Revver page, then clicking 'Account Settings'.
The 'Single-Sign On' page tab can be located at the top of the 'Account Settings' page.
Step 2 - Edit Your Existing SSO Setting
Once on the Single-Sign On page, click on your SSO setting in the list, this should take you to the configuration page for it.
Step 3 - Upload a New Certificate
On the configuration page for your SSO / SAML setting, scroll down to the 'Signature' section. You should see information on your current certificate, who the issuer is, and what the expiration date is.
To upload a new certificate, click on the 'Choose File' button and select it from your computer.
If applicable, change the signature request method according to your SSO providers needs or configuration. Once you're done, click on the 'Update' button and then you're done!
